inside a managed residential property. The landlord or operator provides basic to premium amenities
alongside the room: meals, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, laundry, and security are common inclusions at
managed PGs.
For students relocating to Bangalore for college, coaching, or internships, a PG sits between a
hostel (more institutional, less privacy) and a full rental flat (more expensive, more responsibility). It
is the most practical middle ground for someone arriving in a new city without a local guarantor or a
